Financial Controller 70k

Due to significant growth, my client is looking to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a brand-new exciting role for the Group to rapidly expand approaching its £100m+ turnover target with 200+ employees and an expansive service supply chain. Managinga team of 10 including an experienced Finance Manager, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for the finance function on a day-to-day basis. You’ll own the finance function, work closely with the wider business and improve processesin order to support the company as they grow

**Responsibilities**:

- Improve the end-to-end delivery of accurate and timely financial information across the business and KPI’s. Requirement to rapidly reduce the timescale of deliverables.
- Develop a high-performance Finance team through team management, process improvement and controls.
- Responsible for all aspects of reporting management and business information including reporting to various stakeholders and licensing bodies.
- Ensure the team delivers timely and accurate Consolidated Management accounts, weekly reporting, monthly board reporting and KPI’s.
- Responsible for the audit process and production of statutory accounts.
- Be a proactive leader in change management within the business.
- Improve Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and controls within Finance and the wider business.
- Provide added value and commercial insight to the business alongside key financial reports.
- Responsible for timely budgeting and regular forecasting for the Group.
- Key business partner to the Group and part of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Support the Chief Financial Officer.

**Requirements**:

- Strong IT and analytical skills including Excel, and data management tools such as Microsoft BI.
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant.
- Experience of managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication acumen.
- Attention to detail and results orientated.
- Excellent commercial understanding.
- Experience of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Navision.
- Strong technical accounting and presentation skills.
- Experience in a c. £100m turnover SME in a multi-company, multi-currency environment.
- Salary 70k
- Additional days holiday for Birthday and Xmas eve
- £1500 funded holiday every year plus additional 5 days holiday to take for it.
