**Job Role: Warehouse Operative**

**Reports To: Warehouse Manager**

**Job Purpose**:
To be accountable for order efficiency across the organisation. Ensure the productive and smooth running of the distribution of goods. To provide all customers with positive experience from communication to delivery, whilst delivering a profitable cost centre in line with company expectation
- Receiving deliveries:

- Unloading goods from delivery trucks, checking for damage or missing items, and signing delivery notes
- Booking in consignments onto the warehouse management system
- Storing goods:

- Moving goods to designated areas, ensuring they are properly labelled and stored and entering data onto the warehouse management system
- Picking orders:

- Picking the correct items for customer orders and packing them for delivery on time in full inline with company expectations
- Dispatching the orders and creating paperwork and labels where required
- Keeping stock records and updating warehouse records Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy whilst adhering to Heath and Safety
- Preparing shipping documents:

- Preparing and verifying shipping documents to ensure goods are taken care of in transit
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Available for shift work including weekends
- Strong level of computer literacy in ERP or WMS and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload and achieve deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and working calm under pressure

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
