Job Introduction
**Catering Assistant - Fixed Term (6 months)**
**Location: Diageo, Leven Banbeath Industrial Estate, Leven, Fife, Scotland**
**Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week**
**Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 9am-2pm, Friday 9am-11.30am**
**Hourly Rate: £12.60**

Are you passionate about food and delivering excellent customer service? Do you thrive in a busy kitchen environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a **Catering Assistant** to join our team at **Diageo Leven** on a **6-month fixed-term contract** to cover maternity leave.

You’ll play a vital role supporting the Head Chef in preparing and serving meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring a smooth operation of the catering service.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties
- Serve food to customers courteously and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas
- Follow health and safety procedures, including food hygiene standards
- Support the wider catering team as required

**What you bring**:

- A positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to undergo all pre-employment checks (screening form, RTW check, and Helux induction)
