Are you about the leave the military looking for your first civilian job as a maintenance engineer or are you an engineer currently who is looking to join a company who will invest in you and your learning/development whilst also exposing you to a wide rangeof equipment?
I'm working on behalf of one of the UK's largest supply chain companies who are looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their growing department. The positions have become available due to new multi-site development which has created the need for additionalengineers.
Main roles/responsibilities:
You will be working off on Weekly PPM Schedules
Reactive/Breakdown Maintenance
Working on Conveyors, lifting equipment, Steam boilers, Air con units, Fire alarms, racking equipment - so it will be a mixture of facilities and warehouse equipment)
Some of the equipment is controlled by Siemens S7 PLC
you will be working on a shift with 3 other engineers however, due to the sheer size of the facility you will be working on your own a lot.
The position will have to cover 2 of the sites which are 15 minutes away from each other however most of the work will be based just at the main site in Swindon.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00 / 10:00 - 18:00 (Will be requirement to be on call 1 week & Weekend in 4)
There is a premium which is paid for being on call and all overtime is paid a X1.5
