Persimmon Homes North Scotland is looking for Forklift Drivers to work on our busy construction sites. As a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for dealing with a range of day to day activity on one of our developments in our operating region.

Reporting to the Site Manager the main duties are (but not limited to):

- Maintenance of the Forklift.
- Abide by and ensure Health and Safety is paramount in your duties for yourself and others.
- Ensure visiting goods vehicles follow approved traffic management scheme.
- To take delivery, sign, check, receipt, stack and storage of materials.
- Responsible for the security of the site at the end of the day.
- Ensure all roads are kept clean and clear of mud/debris.
- Tasks to be completed under the direction of the Site Manager.
**Qualifications/Experience**

You must have a full and current UK driving licence.

You must have the relevant CSCS card prior to commencing.

Ideally you’ll have experience of operating a forklift within a similar environment.

**Skills**

Proactive and willingness to take the lead on own initiative and under mínimal supervision.

The ability to work within and as part of a team.

The ability to work to, thrive on and meet tight deadlines as part of a team.
