**Overview of the role**

You will work closely with the Food Development and Operations teams to play an integral role in the delivery of all packaging and packing requirements for projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- As the Packaging Technologist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day project execution process
- You will enjoy working in a a fast-paced environment and be technically minded with the ability to take ideas from trial through to production
- You will be able to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Timely delivery of all packaging, print and packing requirements for sales led projects
- Work closely with Procurement, NPD, and Sales teams to provide a thorough understanding of packaging
- Optimise logistics costs with the Operations team through packaging design/sizing, stacking and formats

**Previous Experience**
- Experience in a food packaging related role/ understanding of the technical aspects of a broad range of packaging components, machinery, and manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and lateral thinking capability.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- Strong IT skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
