Nursery Assistant

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Supervise and interact with children to ensure their safety, well-being, and enjoyment during playtime and structured activities.
- Support children in developing their social skills, communication abilities, and independence through positive reinforcement and guidance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery environment, ensuring that all equipment is in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the best interests of the children.
**Qualifications**
- A background in Early Childhood Education or relevant experience working with young children is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in childcare settings is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of child development principles.
- A proactive drive to create engaging learning experiences for children while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
Pay: £83.34-£90.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
