**Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Temporary Accommodation Officer to work with one of our Housing Associations in Hertfordshire**

**What the job will be doing**
- Take personal responsibility to ensure delivery of a high standard of customer service that is responsive to customer needs, meets the Group’s service standards and proactively keeps customers and stakeholders informed of progress.
- Work closely with colleagues in other Housing Operations directorate teams in the delivery of a cross function, 'patch’/community-based service, as well as all other Group service staff in the delivery of the overall Group objectives.
- Responsible for delivering an intensive housing management service according to service standards and in a customer-focussed manner to our customers in temporary accommodation, ensuring that the environment is maintained.

**What you will need**
- Working with a diverse, often vulnerable customer caseload to provide effective support and advice.
- Debt collection and credit control, including arrears management and eviction procedures.
- Working in a customer-facing role in a service organisation.
- Dealing with negative customer feedback and proactively preventing reoccurrence.
- Is highly customer focused, taking ownership for the delivery of a high-quality end-to-end customer experience, listening to customers to identify their needs and enlisting the support of experts/others where required.
- Handle conflict, difficult conversations and negotiations professionally and persuasively with customers either face-to-face, by phone or online, including those who may be in difficult and/or emotionally charged situations.
- Maintain a full driving licence with business insurance cover, and access to a car.
- Maintain a satisfactory basic level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
