We have several Supervisor vacancies in **Cumbria, Carlisle, Kendal, Sheffield, Lincoln, and York.**

We are looking for talented and motivated Distribution Supervisors and Deputy Distribution Supervisors to join our team

As part of a team of Supervisors, you will lead a team of 20+ delivery drivers to ensure reliable overnight and early morning delivery of newspapers and magazines to private and business customers. You will be responsible for preparing rounds, monitoringtime keeping and attendance, and other daily admin tasks.

To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized, a self-starter, and able to work with mínimal supervision. You must also possess excellent people skills, as you will be leading a team of delivery drivers. Flexibility is a must for this role,so if you have a high work drive and the ability to think on your feet, you will benefit greatly from this position.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Distribution Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

- To manage and oversee the overall packing and distribution function within your territory (including overnight operations).
- To ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time in line with our expected service levels.
- Support the recruitment, training and retention process and pipeline to maintain acceptable staffing levels.
- Be accountable for administration including morning handover of night’s outcomes, health & safety, and cover arrangements.
- Preparing rounds, monitoring time keeping and attendance, and other daily admin tasks.
- Where necessary, supervisors may be required to cover rounds or provide re-deliveries for which you can earn extra money.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Distribution Supervisor are:

- Experience in either logístical or operations management essential, preferably within the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) field.
- You must be computer literate.
- You must hold a full driving licence and have your own vehicle.
- You require an android or iPhone mobile phone with data.

**The specifics
- Payment made every four weeks.
- Early morning starts from 2.30 - 4am (To be confirmed on appointment), approximately 7 hours work each morning.
- 6 mornings on, 2 mornings off rotation
- This is a full-time, permanent employed position
- Annual leave, 28 days
