The Role:
As a **Qualified Air Tightness Tester** at Compliant EPC, you will be responsible for attending a variety of sites across the country to perform air tightness tests, ensuring buildings comply with UK Building Regulations. This is a hands-on, field-based role that will see you traveling to new-build residential and commercial properties, construction sites, and refurbishment projects, where you’ll be conducting crucial tests to measure air permeability.

You will work closely with site managers, contractors, and building teams to deliver timely and accurate results. Your expert advice will be pivotal in helping clients enhance their energy efficiency standards and meet compliance with building regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Travel to client sites across the UK to perform air tightness tests on a variety of property types.
- Conduct tests using specialized equipment to measure air permeability in accordance with current UK regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports for clients, identifying any areas for improvement and offering practical, actionable advice.
- Work closely with our team & building teams to ensure understanding and compliance with the results and any necessary corrective actions.
- Maintain and manage testing equipment, ensuring it is kept in top condition and calibrated as needed.
- Offer insights into improving energy efficiency for future projects.
- Opportunities to train and develop into a **SAP Assessor**, expanding your expertise to include energy performance assessments and SAP calculations for new build developments.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Qualified and experience in Level 1 air tightness testing, with a thorough understanding of relevant UK regulations.
- Knowledge of construction & energy efficiency in buildings.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate.
- Full UK driving license.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience or interest in SAP assessments and energy consultancy.
- IT literacy, especially with testing software, Microsoft packages and energy performance tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
