SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant

Brighton

**Salary**: 68-75 p/d

We have recently had a **NEW AND EXCITING **opportunity become available in a secondary school in the **Burgess Hill area**. We would be interested in either full or part time workers from Monday to Friday.

The schools are specialists in helping support **SEMH and SEN** **children **between the ages of 10-16. With working hours being between 8:30-3:30 to be able to help teachers with setting up the classroom and finding the right way to support the learners to ensure they are learning the best way suited to them.

**Must have**:

- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-35 per week

**Salary**: £68.00-£75.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burgess Hill: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
