**Role Summary**
As a Senior Service Designer, you will be responsible for end-to-end journey of a service. You will play a hands-on role in the delivery of project activities and deliverables, e.g., workshops, presentations and feedback sessions, and your outputs will also include high quality work for your given practice with mínimal guidance and oversight.
You will work in multidisciplinary Agile teams, alongside user researchers, developers, business analysts, and others. You will help to deliver excellent, user-centred public and behind-the-scenes services. In this role, your work may involve the creation of, or change to, transactions, products and content across both digital and offline channels provided by our clients. You will be an experienced designer who works with mínimal support and can influence and mentor others.
- Deliver high-quality design assets that articulate customer insights, journeys and experiences.
- Lead project teams to analyse all aspects of a service and enable the team to build empathy with service users.
- Identify and promote opportunities for process improvements, experiment with ideas and review outcomes to deliver the best possible solutions.
- Identify the most appropriate design methods depending on the phase of the service lifecycle, such as service mapping, service blueprinting or classification of a service taxonomy.
- Work within multi-disciplinary teams to design, prototype and build multi-channel services.
- Ensure services have a full end-to-end support in place and relevant KPIs and SLAs in place before going live, prioritising IT Service Operations Design activities and resolving conflicts based on organisational priorities.
- Use data, design thinking and Agile ways of working to solve problems, test ideas quickly, iterate what you do and embed a learning culture.
- Work with developers to ensure consistent, high-quality design standards are adopted throughout the service.
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to rapidly design, test, and iterate prototypes.
- Oversee design iterations from low-fidelity sketches, through wireframes to high fidelity visual designs.
- Lead the analysis and synthesis of data and research to create user journeys, diagrams and service flows.
- Use research insights to identify meaningful service solutions for clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including data and thematic analysis.

- Facilitation - Confident using facilitation and co-design approaches and service design methodologies to bring users, stakeholders, and individuals together to frame problems, agree on shared purpose and shape a design process to deliver desired service outcomes.
- Agile working - Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Helps the team to decide the best approach. Able to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
- User focus - Able to assist team to decide which tools or methods to use. You are experienced in meeting the needs of users across a variety of channels. You’ll have significant experience collaborating with teams
