We are currently recruiting bank staff to join our team at Midlands Care

As a member of our bank team you will be able to pick up shifts in one of our 7 homes when another staff member is unable to work.

There are no fixed shifts and you will be able to accept or decline shifts at your own free will. This is perfect for somebody who has a lot of commitments outside of work, but would like the opportunity to work shifts that suit them.

As a healthcare assistant you will be constantly interacting with the residents in order to assist them with daily living tasks, whilst ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are followed.

We provide comprehensive training throughout the year with mandatory courses offered and supplementary courses available upon request. Our induction programme includes enrolment on to the Care Certificate designed to equip health and social care workers with the skills they need to provide compassionate, person-centered care.

Duties include:
Assisting residents with personal hygiene related care tasks

Assisting residents during meal times

Assisting other Health Care Assistants when required

Developing care plans and completing forms

Ensuring the residents are happy and comfortable in their day to day lives and assisting them with tasks they require

Skills required:
Good communication

Confident and friendly

Empathetic and sensitive
