We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team providing second/third line support and technical implementations. You will focus on the installation, maintenance, performance and optimisation of messaging infrastructure technologies.

**What you will be doing**
- Administration and enhancement of a messaging environment and its supportability.
- Perform mail migrations to Microsoft Office 365.
- Integration and test of new products for incorporation into program infrastructure.
- Provide technical support.
- Carry out project tasks to ensure the viability of the project
- Accurately assess time to complete tasks in order to follow standard project processes and procedures.
- To be aware of the relevant SLA structure and to respond, fix or escalate according to the limits set out within that structure.
- Maintain Operational and User procedures to ensure that Team Leader is informed of progress.

**What you’ll bring**:

- The Messaging Infrastructure Engineer will have good working knowledge of their technology area.
- Extensive work experience in messaging infrastructure management.
- Experience in Office 365 technologies preferably Exchange Online and\or Microsoft Teams.
- Experience in MS Exchange (preferably 2016\2019).
- Experience in PowerShell or other scripting tools.
- Infrastructure skills covering administration, fault finding/diagnosis and fix.
- Documentation Skills, with the ability to produce documents for use by an end user, as well as operational procedure documentation for use by service desk personnel.

**It would be great if you had**:

- Experience of working with Exchange in a hybrid environment.
- Accreditation to MCP level or equivalent. Diploma in Computer Sciences.
