**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a significant part in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring additional care, including individuals with conditions such as dementia.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Support clients in mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.
- Monitor client’s health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for transporting clients is preferred.
- A caring attitude towards seniors and individuals requiring assistance is essential.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory as training may be provided.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs; availability for evening or weekend shifts may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.47-£11.90 per hour
