We are on the lookout for a full-time or part-time Qualified Dental Nurse Receptionist to join our wonderful team at A&S Dental Surgeons, either on a full time or part time basis.

We provide the very best care we can to all our patients. We offer NHS and a range of private treatments including general dentistry, teeth whitening, clear aligner systems, facial aesthetics and endodontics.

**The Role**:
You will be working as a receptionist at the front desk:

- Manage telephone calls from existing and new patients by booking appointment, answer queries and direct calls where needed.
- Help manage the diaries of dentists.
- Checking patient in and out of the book.
- Book patient appointments and take deposits/payments in person and/or over the phone.
- Dealing with day to day administrative task.
- Printing day lists, banking and closing the reception at the end of the day.
- Keep the reception area stocked and tidy.
- Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order
- Ensure the care and welfare of patients
- Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
- Handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
- Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal etc
- Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted
- Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the practice
- Ensure computer/written records are accurately maintained and securely stored
- Liaise with the team to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
- Attend and participate in practice meetings
- Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice (nursing where needed)
- Undergo training as may be required to develop skills and abilities
- Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR
- Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct

**You must have experience reception and SOE Exact experience.**

You will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongside your passion and enthusiasm for patient care to provide all patients with exceptional customer service and care.
