A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated **Café** **Host/ess (Casual) **to join **The Berkeley Café **team at The Berkeley.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
As a** Café Host/ess (Casual)** you will ensure internal and external customers are equally looked after and treated respectfully and patiently in an organised and efficient manner. You will be providing a warm welcome and be the first contact with the guests approaching the restaurant.

**Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- To welcome each guest in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with a memorable dining experience at The Berkeley.
- To assign the guest to a suitable table for their needs, providing them with the menu.
- To establish the guest room number/ name and pass the information on to the waiter and to inform the waiter regarding the guests special requests.
- To ensure that all tables are consistently laid out and that the restaurant is represented in the best condition possible.
- Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
