Food Wagon

We are looking for a hard working, conscientious and experienced hospitality supervisor to take in hand the Food Wagon based at Durdle Door.

You will be responsible for all food ordering to ensure the business is up and running for the start of the season, all of the organsiation of stock, ensuring the catering offer is on trend with the business needs and for the whole visitor experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and innovative person to take in hand an exciting venture and move it forward successfully through the busy summer season.

The start date for this positon will be as soon as possible. The role will be full time hours, working weekends and managing your time to ensure the food wagon is operational during the busiest operating times.

**Tasks and Duties**
- Oversee and manage all aspects of food preparation and service in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to company standards and customer expectations
- Supervise food wagon casual team, including assigning tasks, managing rotas, providing training, and monitoring performance
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

**Skills and Expereince**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food industry, preferably in a busy take away or a fast paced hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Barista experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills

**Salary**: From £11.88 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 42 per week
