**Are you an experienced finance assistant looking to join a fun team within an exciting industry sector?**My client, an established business who is a provider of school activity courses and summer camps for children across the UK have an exciting new role for two Finance Assistants to join their warm, professional, and dedicated finance team based in Ross-on-Wye
Reporting to the Management Accountants you will aid the team to deliver accurate monthly management accounts.
For this role you will need experience within a similar role and have completed/working towards an AAT qualification. You will also need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a “can do” attitude to be able to communicate with financialand non-financial stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant**:

- Assist in the preparation of the 13-week cashflow forecast, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and kept up to date.
- Assistance in preparation of accurate monthly management accounts in accordance with the agreed timetable to include revenue (client & site), operating and capital expenditure, to include fixed asset registers.
- Variance analysis of actuals versus forecast where required.
- Reconciliation and journaling of bank and petty cash transactions.
- Liaison with Centre and Centre support departments to ensure timeliness and accuracy of information
- To support in the calculation, review and posting of month end accruals and prepayments.
- Assistance in preparation and completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to support the production of management accounts.
- Support with the annual audit and tax process.

**Working Hours: 0900-1700 Monday-Friday**
**Salary: 20k-25k**
