**About the role.**
An Opportunity has arisen in the Housing Solutions Team for the role of Housing Solutions Officer on a permanent contract.
Reporting to the Housing Solutions Team Leader you will work with clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
You will be responsible for interviewing, assessing and identifying homeless prevention options while working with external partners, agencies and other internal sections that will improve outcomes for the individuals and families.
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a passion and commitment to support homeless households. You will have a wealth of experience in assisting customers in a wide range of situations, a strong commitment to excellent customer care, equality, diversity and inclusion. You will be an excellent communicator both verbally, in writing and be able to present confidently to groups of customers.
It is vital that you can demonstrate that you have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to empathise and help others and can demonstrate competence to work on your own initiative.
It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
