Graphic Packaging International is the Carton Industry Leaders in Packaging. Due to our ongoing expansion, we currently need Production Operatives to meet this increase in work.

**JOB PURPOSE**

Assist the die cutting department to help achieve company targets

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the operators in maintaining the company’s file copy standards.
- Segregate defective product from printed stacks in preparation for die cutting.
- Work with die cutting operatives to maintain quality and productivity whilst minimizing waste. (Tooling changeover’s, retrieving and managing tooling schedule pre-press, pile turning)
- To liaise with team leader.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the department.
- Comply with company processes and procedures
- Maintain hygiene standard set for the area.
- Report any issues to the die cutting team leader.
- Cooperate and assist in all aspects of training and development.
- Work with a flexible approach and within reasonable request when required, run other parts of machinery within the department.
- Comply will all company health and safety procedures
- Organisation of pallets between the print, cut and finishing department to maintain a streamline workflow.

**SKILLS/QUALS**
- Computer literate
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and targets

**INTERPERSONAL SKILLS**
- Excellent communication skills essential, ability to understand clear written and verbal instructions.
- Self-motivated
- Good understanding of procedures and processes.
- Highly responsible, reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic
- Quality and safety conscious
- Punctual, presentable and with good attendance

**Hours of work -**rotating 3 x 12 hours shifts - days and nights. (Will be explained at interview)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
