The Main Outpatient Department at Fairfield General Hospital holds clinics for many different specialities within the department and we are currently looking to recruit a registered nurse to the existing team.
The department provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge across a variety of specialities as you are expected to work across all areas with support from unregistered members of staff.

The service is look at running over a 7 day period. Therefore, there will be a requirement to work some weekends.

Work within clinics as allocated by the nurse in charge
Support trained staff by assisting in the delivery of care to the patient directly or indirectly
Assist with some nursing duties unaided at the discretion of a trained nurse, following training and assessment of competence
Communicate effectively with other members of the department team & patients and visitors to the department
Carry out routine and specific procedures required for the day-to-day running of the department that require no interpretation where diagnostic results are produce
Maintain good standards of cleanliness in the department
