**THE TEAM**:
As one of the firm's key areas of expertise, Real Estate is at the heart of Addleshaw Goddard.

The Real Estate Division is one of Addleshaw Goddard's largest, comprising a team in excess of 200. Within Scotland, the Mainstream Real Estate team (which works across the Edinburgh and Glasgow AG Offices) is currently comprised of eight partners and over 40 other fee earners. The team place a high emphasis on their transactional expertise across the UK (we work broadly 50:50 across Scotland and England) and are able to bring a commercial and business-oriented approach to a wide range of property matters. We have a fabulous client list and an incredibly diverse and interesting workload. We work closely with our clients and focus on forming strong relationships with them. We work hard but we are very aware of the need to ensure that there is a supportive environment where we can all help and earn from each other. Partners are very hands on in the team so you will always find that there is senior support available on your transactions.

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
We do as much (or possibly more) English property work as Scottish property work from our Scottish Offices. We are looking to further grow the team and there is now an opportunity for a talented English or Dual Qualified Real Estate Lawyer to join us. Our preference would be for you to be able to work out of our Edinburgh Office (on a hybrid basis) which is where the main English Team sits (or if you would prefer then we could also accommodate you in Glasgow). We would allso consider a remote role if you are not able to work near one of our Scottish Offices.

This is a high performing, cohesive and busy team with excellent prospects for career development. We have a strong reputation for providing lawyers with early levels of responsibility within a supportive and stretching environment. Therefore, anyone taking up this role can expect to have the opportunity to play a significant role in working for clients that are key to the wider Real Estate Division at AG. We also offer an unrivalled (in Scotland) training programme and support for English property lawyers.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- At least 4 years' experience in an English or Dual Qualified property role
- Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a top law firm
- Ability and desire to achieve continuous improvement and development
- An appetite to learn, develop and build strong client relationships
