About the Role:
We are seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) Lawyer in our dynamic tax practice group in London to support the delivery of a broad portfolio of knowledge resources.The role will be located in our London office and may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and maintaining standard forms, templates, guidance notes and other knowledge resources to help our tax attorneys to work at the highest level.
- Supporting the training programmes of the tax practice group, providing substantive training to the associates and trainees as well as more general training on knowledge resources generally.
- Supporting the delivery of the firm’s regular thought leadership publications and wider thought leadership efforts, including developing ideas for articles and writing and editing content.
- Participating in external forums with members of the wider legal community and external service providers in order to keep abreast of regulatory and industry developments.
- Generally acting as a sounding board for technical legal queries from partners and associates.
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- A solicitor qualified in England and Wales
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- A self-starter willing to take the initiative and able to perform responsibilities without close supervision
And have:
- A Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent)
- A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience as a practising lawyer in the tax department of a leading international law firm
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
- The ability to work independently on and deliver projects of significant complexity on a timely basis.
