**Job Overview**
We have a Childcare/Early Years Apprenticeship available with Lily’s Little Gems in Lostock, Bolton. This role will involve full training and an industry recognized Apprenticeship qualification, progression to Level 3 is available upon completion of the Level 2 Apprenticeship - all of our training is in house meaning no need for the successful applicant to attend college for training

**Duties**
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among children.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organised nursery space conducive to learning.
- Drive to various locations as required for training or outreach activities (if applicable).
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and other interactive methods to enhance their learning experience.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with children and colleagues.
- Leadership qualities are beneficial for guiding younger children during activities and fostering teamwork among peers.
- A willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
