This role is 3 days per week Monday to Wednesday but the school may be flexible on what 3 days this can be. This role is a long term role and is potentially for the remainder of the academic year.

The child potentially may have ADHD but has not been diagnosed and can at times lash out in stressful situations.

This role will be mainly about building trust with the child and building a relationship. This role will also require patience and resilience.

To support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through collaborative preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum. To use a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision whichincludes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.

Accountabilities:
Act in accordance with the organisation’s guidelines under the guidance of the designated Provision Manager and adhere to the organisation’s Equal Opportunities and Diversity policy.

Being an advocate on behalf of your students in your class, whilst encouraging their involvement and engagement within the seassion in the classroom. In addition, assisting the class teacher with the assessment, preparation, delivery and review of a learner’scurriculum including contributions to lesson plans.

Be aware of ALL safeguarding procedures on a day to day basis, and adhering to these at all times.

Be responsible for all aspects of learner health and safety, informing the designated Learning Manager of any accidents or identified risks, and using the significant incident reporting form appropriately. Support the Learning Manager to ensure venues usedare appropriate and risk assessed, and that Health and Safety guidance supplied by the company is adhered to.

To adhere to the appropriate plans that are set out for the children within the class, and to be aware of any SEN needs of he children that you;d be supporting. To have the ability to put on place strategies to handle certain sitatuons whilst supportinga child 1:1.

This will be a challenging role but rewarding one, if you are passionate about helping provide a safe and progressive enviroment for the children to thrive and develop then this role is for you.
- Teaching Assistants: 1 year (preferred but not essential)
- SEN: 1 year (preferred but not essential)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
