**Overview**

We have an exciting opportunity at the Corby Shared User site for a Systems Team Leader. Whilst the position covers both work streams, it is predominantly weighted towards the systems work content. This role would ideally suit someone from a systems background or who has an aspiration to pursue a career in a system-based environment.

**How you will contribute?**
- Reporting to the Operations Manager.
- This role will monitor the performance of the onsite Warehouse Management System and other systems on site.
- Provide support and cover for the stock management team.
- Be a key liaison between the site, customers and with the wider Wincanton technical teams.
- Act as first line of support for system enquires, identify root causes, and support the resolution process.
- Lead system-based projects and manage implementation and training.
- Coach using the WMS and other systems.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all systems related activity.
- Maintain WMS logic & update sequencing accordingly.
- Undertake User Acceptance Testing.
- Coordinate hardware maintenance for system equipment on site and maintain inventory of all devices.
- Support a continuous improvement culture.
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of self and others.
- Support a positive site cultural initiative programme.

**What you will bring?**
- Have experience in a systems role and have knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Experience of the Manhattan WMS would be advantageous.
- Previous experience of working in a line management role would be beneficial.
- Have stock management knowledge and experience to support and provide cover for the Stock Team Leaders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to time-critical dates, in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident in the gathering, cleansing & summarising of data for presentation in numerical, graphical or report formats.
- Proficient with MS Office packages, including Excel.
- Ability to convey system terminology in layman terms.
- Excellent communication & customer relations skills.
- An understanding of HR Legislation.
