Trainee Estimator

**Job Summary**

SGA Technologies Limited have been designing and manufacturing high quality hermetic components and offering specialist plating services since 1969. We have recently opened a new plating facility SGA Poole, and we are looking for an Estimator to join our busy team.

**Results Statement**

Provide timely and accurate costings; interpreting customer drawings, plating specifications and other requirements to create quotations. Then tracking and working with the sales team to help convert those opportunities into orders.

**Main Duties**
- Process customer enquiries accurately and expediently.
- Produce costings, building up to a quotation within agreed timescales.
- Issue quotations to customers, maintaining accurate records, filing as required.
- Liaise with internal departments, communicating customer requirements.
- Contact Customers who have not placed orders, for feedback.
- Other Administrative duties including cover for holidays.

**We are looking for someone who is**:

- Excellent at communicating and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Good grasp of maths (A-level or higher).
- Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Comfortable using Excel.
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Target driven and ability to deliver to deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
