**Receptionist - Part time**
**Langley**
We are looking to recruit a friendly and efficient front of house receptionist to work 2 days per week on a job share basis at fabulous office building on the Slough/Langley borders. There is an onsite café and the iconic building is ideally located for easy access to the M4 and key local roads.
The role will also include responsibility for undertaking some concierge and added value initiatives - so if you are creative and enthusiastic about reaching out to the local business community to find some exclusive offers for everyone working in the building - this could be the role for you.
**The role**
You will provide a front of house reception service, which will include:
**Reception responsibilities**
- Meeting and greeting all visitors to the building to ensure a warm welcome - you will be the ‘face of the building’
- You will use sign in portals to register visitors
- You will always ensure the reception area and building presents well
- You’ll be managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- You will also develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file - becoming the ‘expert’ in terms of local knowledge
**The building**
- You will support the offsite Property Management Company by ensuring any building issues are reported and managed to resolution.
- This will include managing maintenance contractors visiting the building/controlling keys/assisting with alarm checks
- You will operate the car park barrier and undertake a weekly check on cameras/cctv.
- You will handover to a security officer at the end of the day.
- You will produce a weekly report for key stakeholders on building activity
**Concierge/added value responsibilities**
- You will support the sales and leasing agents, by ensuring space is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential occupiers.
- You will also find out what’s happening locally and reach out to the local businesses to find supporting offers and deals or freebies - all aimed at delivering a community vibe to increase enjoyment for those working in the offices during the day.
- You will develop a newsletter for tenants to communicate activities and drive participation - so a competent user of Microsoft office, social media, and creative apps is a ‘must’
**About you**
- You will be personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
- You will be self-motivated and willing to take on additional activities as part of the reception role.
- You will have excellent communication skills and be Microsoft office competent with confidence using social media and creative apps
- You will enjoy working independently as part of the reception job share
- You will previously have worked in a premium, corporate front of house reception role or customer service, marketing, or sales environment.
**Hours**
8.00 Am - 7.00 Pm Monday and Wednesday
**Salary**
£12,584 pa (22hrs pw)
(Breaks including lunch to be taken in the building)
No weekends
