**Level 3 Motor Mechanic/Vehicle Technician | Chesham | Full Time | £20,000 to £40,000 based on Qualifications & Experience**

Our client is a well-established, family-run garage with over 20 years in the industry. The company prides itself in offering a good quality service to all customers. They have won many business and local awards for their service and help to the local community.

You will work Monday to Friday 8am-6pm with 1 hour Lunch spread out during the day and Saturday 8am-1pm. This will be negotiable for every other Saturday.

Once settled in, you will be offered the opportunity to go on courses to improve your knowledge and skills.

Please note that the closest Train Station is Chesham Train Station on the Metropolitan line, Close to M25 J18 & J20.

**What can you expect in return?**

**What will your role look like?**
- Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work
- Discussing required repairs with the service reception team
- Repairing or replacing components as required
- Road testing vehicles following repair works when appropriate.
- Performing general repairs and servicing.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Level 2/3 or Equivalent or Long Term Experience essential
- Valid manual, full UK driving licence and must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Good knowledge of motor vehicles and how to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Good verbal communication skills for explaining vehicle work and discussing vehicle cases with other team members
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills for determining vehicle problems and how to resolve them
- Manual dexterity for working on vehicle parts, including sensitive sensors and electronic components
- Competency in using diagnostic equipment
