**Our client based in Thatcham is looking **for an ACA qualified / part qualified accountant who will be responsible for assisting with projects and general administrative duties.**

**You will need to be an ambitious, commercially focused, enthusiastic and professional team player with a good sense of humour and strong resolve.**

**Standard shifts**:

- 08:00 - 17:00
- Monday to Friday - Office based only
- Flexibility required

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Responsibility for the accounting department
- Aged receivable and chasing debtors
- Invoice production
- Preparation of management accounts
- Analysis of figures
- VAT returns
- Streamlining administrative processes
- Running administrative projects
- Assisting with budgeting and budget planning
- Assisting and covering administration team
- Payroll and expense reconciliation

**Requirements**:

- Partly ACA qualified
- Experience in trial balance and profit and loss accounting is essential
- Confident with Microsoft office eg: Excel and Xero
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Quick learner
- Streamlining experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
