My client is a Well Established Global Forwarder who is looking for an Import Superivor to join their team in Sunbury.
his role has arisen after a successful year and the company going through considerable growth

This role would suit someone who is currently in a supervisory/Team Leader role or an expereienced operations clerk who is looking for the next step in their career.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Coordinate Ocean Import shipments from origin, shipper, truckers, and steamship lines
Arrange pickup and delivery for inland transportation
Track the shipment to ensure it has reached the final destination
Verifies shipment weight and volumes
Calculates rates with the ability to convert pricing and rates
Responsible for audit compliance with FMC regulations
Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source best method of transportation
Maintain communications with the customers, carries and vendors
Responsible for filling Pre alerts and ISF's
Handles the full process from A-Z
Handling and resolving Ocean Import troubleshooting
Perform other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
**Experieince Required**

5+ Years in Freight Forwarding industry
Experience in overseeing/managing a team (Advantagous)
Knowledge of local and international carriers and routes
Able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
Great organizational skills
Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
Ability to navigate and work efficiently using IT software

**Desired Qualifications**:
Ability to commute to work
Flexible attitude towards work
GSCE's in English and Maths
Experience handling FCL & LCL

**This is a direct hire, full-time, permanent position.
