We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Executive who is keen to develop their skills by joining our client's busy payroll team. The role is based in our Newport office, with ongoing opportunities and growth within a small expanding team.
**Duties**:
- Working with the payroll team to process weekly and monthly payroll for major clients.
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients at all levels
- Resolve escalated advanced payroll queries from the admin team, or clients.
- Process corrections and account reconciliations
- Assisting to lead and develop a growing team whilst also improving payroll knowledge
- RTI submissions to HMRC through our bespoke payroll system (full training will be given on the payroll system).
- Liaise with HMRC as required.
- Ensuring compliance with our auto-enrolment duties with Smart pensions.
**Skills**:
- Two years of payroll experience in a senior position.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills required and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be an ambitious individual and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Have the ability to instigate change and improve processes where required.
The company offer superb office environment full time hours of 8.30 - 5pm or 9 - 5.30pm salary is 28- 31K.
