SikSilk is a British born, multi-site, rapidly expanding global fashion brand that draws inspiration from top athletes, celebrities, and influencers around the world.

**The Role**:
Following a period of significant growth and an ambitious strategy to grow further, we are seeking to recruit an innovative Fashion Designer. Reporting to the Head of Buying, you will be responsible for bringing the brand to life in a consistent manner that both enhances and drives impact. You will work with key stakeholders, global partners, and the wider team to design and produce garments across the entire brand’s ranges.

**Responsibilities of a Fashion Designer**:

- Creating mood boards to convey concepts and ideas
- Design commercial trend-inspired seasonal collections
- Constantly strives to design innovative ranges by using multiple sources of inspiration
- Reflects on global Trends to ensure all our markets are captured from the concept stage
- Planning and developing multi-product ranges
- Developing methods of market research to understand and act on market trends, user behaviour, competitor activity and other relevant updates
- Sketch/ Design and produce detailed tech packs
- Maintain brand consistency throughout the design process
- Ensure design time scales are followed and achieved
- Ensure information communicated from the design process is accurate and complete
- Deputise for the Lead Designer when required
- Build upon close working relationships with oversea factories and their in-house designers
- Mentor and coach junior team members

**Required** **Skills, Attributes and Experience of a Fashion Designer**:

- Relevant Fashion Degree
- Ideally have 2 to 4 years of branded experience designing across multi-product
- Confident communicator
- Competent in design software, specifically: Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to draw and construct print patterns both by hand and by CAD
- Sound knowledge of design and product development process including manufacture and suppliers
- Passionate about fashion with the ability to forecast and assign colour and fabric to create fashion-forward collections in line with the brand
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain excellent time management to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who can confidently share concepts and present ideas with the wider group

**The role of the Fashion Designer is a full-time permanent position**
