Medical Receptionist

The successful applicant will be highly efficient and organised with excellent computer and communication skills, both oral and written. You will require good interpersonal skills and flexibility to tackle the different scenarios which may arise. Keyboard/computer skills essential. Applicants must have a flexible approach to working and be prepared to work additional hours, as and when required, to help cover periods of staff shortage.
You will have the opportunity to work across the three surgeries. Previous NHS experience is not essential but will be an advantage. Only short listed applicants will be notified. The following are the core responsibilities of the receptionist.
Processing new registrations Deal with samples in the appropriate way Taking payment for and recording of non NHS work Keeping the reception area and waiting area free from obstructions and clutter.
