Robert Walters is pleased to have partnered with a truly unique and rapidly growing organisation, who are looking for an ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join on a permanent basis. This PE backed organisation have been experiencing double digit growthfor the last few years and are on a trajectory for this expansion to continue for the foreseeable due to significant investment.

The focus of the role will be management of specific FP&A projects by developing value add reporting and providing decision support for business leaders. This Commercial Finance Analyst will be integral in driving accountability and providing insights tothe business. In addition, this FP&A Analyst will take full ownership of monthly FP&A and Reporting cycles for respective cost centres, including in-depth analytical review and variance analysis, developing consistent reporting and business partnering.

Key responsibilities:

- Work in close collaboration with key accounting team to ensure expenses are correctly reported
- Prepare month end analytical reviews, including transactional expense analysis and explain variances against budget/forecast
- Ensure budget holders receive accurate monthly financial results with commentary and variance analysis
- Assist in preparation of reporting metrics to support business needs
- Prepare monthly expense forecasting for multiple departments, including development, IT & Infrastructure and Research, Data and Analysis
- Produce annual Budgets and support long-term business planning
- Proactively liaise with departmental heads and their teams to build strong relationship between the Business and Finance
- Build from the ground up and continuously look to implement new processes, streamline current processes, and automate Finance tasks
- Use technology to drive efficiency's in work and improvements in processes

Experience and qualifications:

- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA or equivalent qualification
- Previous FP&A and business partnering experience
- Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for process improvement and ongoing development of an FP&A function
- Possess the ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills are essential to ensure effective stakeholder management at all levels
- Driven, focused and ambitious attitude
- Strong Excel skills are essential
