We are currently recruiting for Plant Operators to join our team based in North West London. The role of a plant operator is to provide safe efficient operation for the item of plant you have been instructed to operate, you role may require you to work alone, as part of a larger team or under the instruction of a dedicated banksman.

**Plant Operator Job Responsibilities**:

- To carry out all visual checks and specific plant check sheets at Start of Shift, End of Shift and before operating any plant.
- Ensure all oiling, greasing and fueling is completed in accordance with RAMS and environmental procedures.
- Only excavator operators with a lifting ops category on their CPCS card are permitted to carry out lifting operations
- Mobile plant operators must be aware of issues that have arisen with plant stability, such as the causes of instability and factors that normally come under the control of the plant operator.
- Be aware of weather conditions at all times, especially wind conditions during lifting operations
- CPCS Certified - Lifting Operations for the type of lifting being carried out.
- CSCS professionally qualified person
- Knowledge of construction practices, lifting plant and equipment
- Working knowledge of requirements of legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice that relate to all types of lifting duties including basic, standard and complex, typically BS 7121: Code of Practice for Safe Use of Cranes
- Able to work both autonomously and as part of different teams
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, good interpersonal skills
