Leicester Grammar School (LGS) is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools.

We are seeking to recruit Exams Invigilators to join our team of invigilators used periodically throughout the academic year. The peak invigilation times for exams are January, May, June and December.

Being an Exam Invigiliator at LGS involves supervising pupils in exams, preparing exam rooms, and distributing and collecting exam papers.

**Our ideal Exam Invigilator**

As an Exam Invigilator you may want to be called upon for a short period, or year-on-year.

We are able to offer you flexibility with the hours being mutually agreed.

Safeguarding training and full training for exam invigilation will be provided.

Invigilators work on a casual basis. The rate of pay is currently £12.48 per hour.

If you are successful in being shortlisted for this role, you will be required to provide information about your suitability to work with children by completing a self-declaration form. In this form you will be required to provide details of all spent and unspent convictions and cautions. However, you will not have to disclose a caution or conviction for an offence committed in the United Kingdom if it has been filtered in accordance with the DBS filtering rules.
