- To supervise pupils in the absence of their normal teacher, this will usually be to cover short-term absence
- To manage the classroom and ensure that students remain focused on the work that they have been set.
- Have a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs by ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children's achievement and ability to develop.
- Experience working in a school or with children is essential.
- A confident manner and have the skills required to keep a class on-track.
