LOCUM CONSULTANT IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY WITH A SPECIAL INTEREST THAT COMPLEMENTS THOSE ALREADY PRESENT IN THE DEPARTMENT
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest that complements those already present in the department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to provide an efficient service for patients / women who attend the Obstetrics and Gynaecology departments in Sunderland Royal Hospital and South Tyneside District Hospital. Applicants must be a holder of MRCOG, be eligible for the GMC Specialist Register in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within six months of the time of interview and have experience in managing high risk pregnancy.
Applicants must also have excellent organizational and communication skills, be a good team worker and have experience in training undergraduates and postgraduates. Direct involvement in delivery of NIHR portfolio clinical research trials is highly desirable.
