**Duties will include**:

- Operate mobile plant in the safe and correct manner, provided you have received authorization and training.
- Keep machine cabs clean & tidy. Greased as per manufactures instruction.
- Fill out defect sheets on mobile plant daily and report any defects to the site management in a timely manner.
- Report all accidents and near hits as soon as reasonably practicable.
- Ensure all stockpiles are free of contamination.
- Assist in the maintenance of mobile & static plant.
- Maintenance of haul roads, picking of wind-blown litter, dust, and noise monitoring/control.
- Ensure all waste tipped in the inert transfer station is compliant.
- Adherence to the requirements of ISO 14001/9001.
- Assist in reducing the amount of material that goes to landfill.
- Adherence to Health & Safety Regulations and All Company Policies.
- Completion of 2 ticks 4 safety and Near Hit Reporting.
- General Housekeeping in the work environment and mess room.
- Take care of the Environment while carrying out your duties.

To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.

**The Role**:
**WORKING IN WAREHAM AT ONE OF OUR BUSIEST QUARRIES THIS ROLE IS AN IDEAL POSITION FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SELF-MOTIVATED AND ENJOYS OPERATING MOBILE PLANT.**

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the main responsibilities and duties are to operate and maintain Mobile Plant, including Dumper Truck, Loading Shovel, Excavator, working as part of the wider team to ensure materials and stockpiles are transported around the site and are free of contamination, and assist in the maintenance of mobile and static plant. As well as helping to keep the site tidy and clean for customers.
