Female Support Worker

Rula Homecare are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our Rula family. Rula Care and Rula Homecare is a family run care company offering a bespoke care service to adults living within the community who wish to continue living independently as long as possible. This particular role is supporting a female in her own home with learning disabilities. This role is 2:1 during the day and sleep at night. Duties will involve but not be limited to; " Providing Medication " Assisting in keeping the property clean " Assisting at meal times " Encouraging good personal hygiene " Weekly food shopping " Activities in the community It’s a varied and flexible role; a challenging yet rewarding position; helping to enhance someone's life by encouraging them to participate in positive activities and in meeting their needs. You will be required to build a trusting relationship and provide emotional support when presenting challenging behaviour. Have previous experience of working with complex needs and challenging behaviour, Able to cover both day and night shifts Be positive, caring and supportive, Have good communication skills and and be an excellent listener, Be committed to providing support in positively changing someone's life Rates of pay from £11.50 per hour. - Sleep £70 per night Hours of work (will be required to cover a variety of the below shift patterns) 0800 to 1700 0900 to 1800 1700 to 0800 (SLEEP 2200 to 0700) We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth.
