Quantity Surveyor

Watkin Jones, the UK's leading developer and manager of residential for rent homes with a focus on the build to rent (BTR), co-living and student accommodation (PBSA) sectors, are looking to appoint an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join thisdeveloping and growing team.
Due to the nature of this role you must be able to display main contractor experience with a solid grounding within building generally, quantity surveying in multi-storey PBSA or BtR environments would be advantageous but not mandatory. For this role weoffer agile working, this means working arrangements that allow youto vary the timing or location of their work for the mutual benefit of the individual and the organisation, this means that while your role is based in Chester, you can work from a varietyof locations including home, other sites and other offices with prior agreement with your line manager. Additional to this youmust have the willingness to travel to various Watkin Jones sites and offices as and when required.
So, if you hold an NVQ Level 3, ‘A’ Level’s, HNC or Degree in a relevant discipline or have the required level of experience, then we would love to hear from you. You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail andthe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also a must.
