Where in the world of OVO will I be working? This role is an Agile Coach position working within OVO’s fantastic Tech Team. We as an Agile Team are focused on trying to improve the way we work across OVO Tech. This could involve improving ways of working at all levels, to teams to whole value streams & as well company wide. Our vision for how we work is below. We are thought leaders. What will I be doing? Key responsibilities include: 121 & group coaching. E.g. a team health check coaching workshop, or 121 coaching for individuals to support their evolution of their ways of working. Facilitating workshops e.g. retrospectives (for teams & larger distributed groups), team dynamic workshops, chartering of vision & mission and sometimes refinement, user story mapping, and various other workshops. Create & deliver training on Agile & various ways of working. E.g. training on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, how to measure your impact as a team, how to split user stories, user story mapping. Organising events to support our innovative Agile culture. E.g. organising Hackathons, Green Days (innovative days to support our Plan Zero mission across OVO Tech), team days, Agile Community of Interest sessions. Mentoring others & sharing your experience with individuals & through team meetings. Celebrating the impact we have as an Agile team, e.g. gathering feedback, presenting at show & tells, village halls, company meetings, in slack channels & emails. Increase the connection with OVO Tech & the rest of OVO through various conversations & workshops to join the dots. Is this the job for me? Ideally you will have: Agile Mindset. A deep knowledge, understanding and experience of living the Agile Mindset, as well as embedding the Agile mindset with the values & principles. Facilitation & training skills, including train the trainer knowledge and experience. Knowledge and understanding of various frameworks & ways of working: Scrum, Kanban, Chartering, story splitting, user stories, user story mapping, Hackathons, running communities. Coaching Skills. The ability and experience of doing 121 coaching as well as running group coaching sessions. Be very organised and a great communicator. Keen to share thought leadership internally & externally & always looking to learn and continuously improve. The ability to travel to London/ Bristol ideally once a month. Does this sound like you?
