We are a family run greengrocers who stock and supply our own shops plus wholesale to local businesses. We have been established since 1969 and are located just off the A36 outside Salisbury.

Due to our business expanding we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised Warehouse Operative/Order Picker - previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

**About the Warehouse Operative Role**

This is a hands-on job, as the warehouse is your sole responsibility, but you will need to be able to liaise and work with the other members of the team to ensure that the high standards we expect are maintained.

**Skills Required**:

- Attention to detail and quality control is a must
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You must speak, read, write and have a good understanding of English
- A good level of numeracy and literacy
- Adaptable and flexible in approach to your work
- You should be able to lift up to 25kg bags
- Good manual handling practices and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Manual handling would be ideal
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a small team
- Have a valid UK driving licence

**Warehouse** **Operative Duties**
- **Goods outwards**: Pick and pack our own shop and customer orders accurately and to the correct specification. Dispatch orders with appropriate paperwork

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.23 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week
