Trainee Early Intervention Therapist

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Trainee Therapist to join our team If you’re passionate about delivering values driven behaviour and education programs, this could be the role for you All programs have behaviour analysis at the core, as well as a strong PBS framework, and incorporate education research, parenting research and attachment theory.
main duties:
- deliver (2-3 hour) 1-1 developmental play based therapy sessions twice per week, (flexible days and times to suit your needs)
- work 1-1 with a 4 year old boy with autism
- improve communication, listening, play skills, behaviour, etc.
- run therapy alone, using initiative and, keeping resources organised
- work closely with parents and supervisor
- receive regular support and training from the Supervisor and Consultant
Essential:
You must have previous experience working with children
You must be reliable and committed
You must have excellent communication skills
you must have right to work in the uk
you must have a clean dbs
You must have experience with ASD/special needs/learning disability/behaviours of concern
Desirable
1. you may have availability to work with additional children in future
You may have use of a car, for ease of getting to clients
