On behalf of DWP, we are looking for an HVAC Specialist for a 7 month (Inside IR35) contract based in any DWP hub with travel expectations.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions, and child maintenance policy. - Provide effective, efficient, and innovative services to the millions of claimants who rely on us every day, including the most vulnerable in society
- Improve experience of our services while maximising value for money for the taxpayer.

**As an HVAC Speciaist, your main responsibilities will be to**:

- Lead the definition of HVAC-related processes and standards (BMS, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ancillary equipment).
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager and Service Delivery teams.
- Provide technical advice on HVAC specifications, safety, and compliance.
- Assure asset management activities and maintain accurate HVAC asset registers.
- Audit project completions to ensure updates to asset and PPM records.
- Monitor HVAC compliance and maintain a live risk register.

**Essential**:

- Deep knowledge of HVAC systems in large estates.
- Excellent understanding of HVAC legislation and compliance standards.
- Expertise in asset management and PPM schedules (e.g., SFG20).
- Experience in facilities management, technical security, and compliance.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience with CAFM systems and cost-effective compliance solutions.
