Payroll Integration Project Manager- 9 Month

Barclay Meade Finance and Accountancy are proud to be working in partnership with this global Shared Service Centre and supporting them with this vital hire.
The Payroll Integration Project Manager will manage the seamless transition of the payroll operation from several reporting entities into one. The project will require developing and owning the transition project plan working in collaboration alongside thewider finance teams and process owners.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop & own the detailed transition plan from cradle to grave and work in collaboration with the workstream leads.
- Manage the delivery of the transition plan to timescales, cost & quality.
- Manage associated risks, issues & dependencies.
- Co-ordinate the work of the workstream process leads.
- Demonstrate & report progress to key stakeholders.
- Ensure all relevant department functions are fully engaged in the process and committed to supply resources to complete the transition plan.
- To be the first point of escalation for any issues or problems raised by the business.
- To seek out and tackle issues that will prevent the delivery of business benefits linked to service transition.
- Develop a detailed project plan for transition at task level, manage and control project delivery.
- Identify the people & groups that could impact or be impacted by the project.
The successful applicant will have**:
- A previous track record of delivering previous transitions of finance processes from start to finish.
- Experienced in leading through knowledge transfer.
- Experience of working in a finance shared service environment.
- Experience in working with teams & managing the movement of finance processes.
- Ability to manage complex workstreams in parallel
- Good networking & communications skills, ability to identify & work with multiple stakeholders and departments
- Project Management experience
- Finance qualifications preferred
- Sound knowledge of financial control environment
The role offers hybrid working and is a 9 month FTC.
