Office Angels are so excited to be recruiting for an Account Assistant based in Maidstone. Working for a well-established, friendly company, this is a role would be ideal for someone who has experience within accounts.

**Job Title**:Accounts Assistant

**Location**: Maidstone

**Salary**:£22,000-£26,000

**Hours**:Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

**Benefits**:

- 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

- Pension

**As the Accounts Assistant your key responsibilities would be**:

- Use of Sage 50 for payroll and PAYE return on weekly and monthly basis
- Completing Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
- Assisting the completion of VAT returns.
- Setting up suppliers on the accounting system
- Answering inbound calls and directing to appropriate team member staff
- Admin as and when required i.e. Typing of estimates and letters
- Great administration and communication skills.
- Being organised and have great attention to detail.
- Experience with VAT returns and completing monthly PAYE returns.
- Sage 50 (2 years' experience)
- Essential that you are IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and word.
