Saddleworth School is large, vibrant and popular 11-16 comprehensive school in attractive rural surroundings on the fringes of Oldham and require:
**Salary**:£26,421 - £28,770 (£22,017 - £23,974 pro rata) pay award pending

**Contract**:Full Time 36.66 hours per week (Term Time only)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with an interest in supporting and educating children. This role will suit a wide range of people including those who wish to get into teaching or those who have experience of an educational setting.

**Key aspects of the role would be to**:

- To supervise and support students through covering lessons or learning activities during the short term absence of their teacher
- To assist students in the completion of work set and facilitate peer assessment and correction of the work under the direction of a Curriculum Leader
- To support with ad hoc administrative work in a designated Curriculum area
- Experience of working with or relating to young people and have a commitment to their education, development, welfare and aspirations with particular focus on language for learning.
- Ability to successfully deliver pre planned lessons as directed by the classroom teacher/Curriculum Leader
- Ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Good interpersonal, communication and administration skills.
